In common with all organisations such as ours, we are closely following the official guidelines from Public Health England and acting accordingly. Our maintenance officers will only attend emergency repairs. Please note that an emergency is ; no water, electric, severe leaks . Note: no heating or hot water is not deemed an emergency (unless there is an underlying health issue).
When you call in to report an repair, please be prepared to answer some additional questions when you speak with office staff. We ask you notify us if you or anyone else in your household are exhibiting symptoms of the Covid-19 virus so we may find an appropriate way to assist you. This is vital as we take the staff of our staff and you / your family and extended community extremely seriously.
You can also report repairs via our website or email info@oakhousing.co.uk providing photos of the repairs. If maintenance do attend your accommodation, please note that they will be wearing protective clothing including masks and gloves. If you have any inspections booked or one is due to be carried out, please expect a phone call from the inspector who will be contacting you from the office to complete a telephone inspection.
